Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women. Pakistan is a country with an average ratio of breast cancer (30 cases per 100,000 people), the average rate is increasing mortality (about 1.6% per year) due to poor structure, clinical stage (20% of reported cases in the first stage and up to 80% of cases in the second degree) and associated poor treatment response.
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer among Asian women. Most often develops in women between 50 and 70 years of age, and they are at the highest risk of illness. To reduce the risk of breast cancer, it is necessary to appropriate prevention, especially regular breast self-examination. In the diagnosis of breast cancer, the most important is mammography , and treatment is based on surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy .
The increasing incidence of breast cancer is influenced by many factors. Highly probable that harm our increasing number of cars, polluted air, artificial food, etc. It is also said about industrial estrogens – chemicals that act as natural estrogen and may affect the healthy breast tissue.
We can cure the breast cancer if the lump is not more than 2 cm and no metastasis to lymph nodes, there is a good chance for a full recovery. Breast screening can detect tumors in the lower stage. Unfortunately, many Pakistani women still die because they do not go for the test, and the tumor is diagnosed too late for them.
